TK Punk Gold Week Planner
A reusable weekly AP checklist for Hanport City.
The Week Planner is the practical companion to Time Management. TK Punk Gold gives you fifty weeks, not infinite free time. Every turn can feed the Gold Bar, a commission, prosthetic R&D, companion bonding, or faction goodwill—but rarely all of them. This page is a text tool: copy the checklist into a note, mark what you did, and adjust next week instead of improvising from memory.
Core rule
Treat action points as a budget with four buckets:
- Survive — cash and bar upkeep so the Gold Bar front stays credible.
- Fight — commissions that unlock story pressure and combat gear.
- Build — prosthetic research and kit upgrades that keep squad power honest.
- Belong — companion bonds and faction lanes that shape endings.
If a week only fills one bucket, you are gambling. If a week tries to fill all four equally every time, you are spreading thin. Aim for two strong buckets and one maintenance bucket most weeks.
Pre-week snapshot (60 seconds)
Before you spend anything, answer these questions:
- Cash trend: rising, flat, or falling after last week’s bar and commission payouts?
- Commission backlog: any urgent jobs that expire or gate story beats?
- Research queue: is a prosthetic upgrade one session away from mattering in combat?
- Bond focus: which one or two companions are on your active list this arc?
- Goodwill lean: are you intentionally feeding Heaven, Earth, or Man, or still exploring?
Write the answers in one line. That line becomes the week’s thesis. Example: “Recover cash, finish one commission, one bond scene with priority companion, skip vanity crafts.”
Weekly checklist template
Use this markdown block every week:
Week #: ____ / 50
Thesis: ________________________________
[ ] Bar / income action (Survive)
[ ] Commission or combat prep (Fight)
[ ] Prosthetic R&D or kit maintenance (Build) — or consciously skip
[ ] Bond / recruit / date action (Belong) — max 1–2 targets
[ ] Faction goodwill action if this week is a lane week — or skip
[ ] Review inventory so you do not buy duplicates
[ ] End-week note: what hurt, what to fix next
Keep the checklist boring. Boring is how you finish endings.
Suggested week archetypes
Economy recovery week
When the Gold Bar is starving, put Survive first. Run bar actions before romance. Re-read Bar Management if you keep dumping turns into scenes while cash collapses. One commission is fine if it pays; two commissions while broke often creates a worse hole.
Combat push week
When a hard commission is coming, fill Fight and Build. Visit the Combat Guide and Builds Hub for prosthetic priorities, then spend the bond slot only if it also upgrades a combat partner you will field. Skip faction tourism this week unless the commission itself is faction-linked.
Bond focus week
When a companion route is open, protect Belong. Use the Bond Tracker so you do not accidentally split scenes across five people. Still keep one Survive action so romance does not bankrupt the bar. Recruit windows are covered in How to Recruit and roster context in Companions Hub.
Route correction week
From roughly mid-campaign onward, schedule occasional lane weeks. Mark Heaven / Earth / Man intent on the Ending Checklist, then take the matching goodwill actions described in Faction Routes. Do not wait until week forty-five to discover you watered every faction equally.
Phase map for the 50-week clock
Weeks 1–10 — Foundation. Learn menus with Getting Started and How to Play TK Punk Gold. Stabilise bar income. Unlock early commissions. Recruit only what you can support. Prosthetic R&D should be practical, not cosmetic.
Weeks 11–25 — Specialisation. Pick a combat identity and two priority bonds. Start a soft faction lean. Revisit this planner every five weeks and rewrite your thesis if cash or combat is failing.
Weeks 26–40 — Commitment. Stop shotgun romance. Finish key research lines. Push goodwill toward the ending family you want. Keep one recovery week in reserve after any failed commission streak.
Weeks 41–50 — Closure. Open the Ending Checklist every week. Prefer actions that confirm route conditions over random side content. Log achievement-adjacent tasks on Achievements only if they do not jeopardise the finale.
Common failure patterns
- Bar neglect: romance scenes feel rewarding until payroll fails. Fix with economy recovery weeks.
- Commission addiction: fighting everything leaves bonds and goodwill starved. Cap fight weeks.
- Research hoarding: unfinished prosthetic trees waste earlier AP. Finish one line before starting three.
- Equal affection: thirteen companions are not thirteen weekly obligations. Track focus in the Bond Tracker.
- Ending panic: goodwill is a long curve. Use Endings Guide for conditions, then schedule lane weeks early enough to matter.
How to use this with the rest of the wiki
After each planner session, jump sideways only for the bucket that failed. Cash problems go to Bar Management. Combat problems go to Combat Guide and Builds Hub. Companion problems go to Bonds and Roster. Route problems go to Faction Routes and Ending Checklist. Purchase or hardware doubts belong on the Review Hub and System Requirements. Launch changes live under Updates and Patch Notes.
Print nothing fancy. The win condition for this tool is simple: every week has a thesis, two protected buckets, and a one-line postmortem. Do that for fifty weeks and TK Punk Gold stops feeling like random menu chaos.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Hanport City survivors.
How many actions should a TK Punk Gold week usually cover?
Protect two primary buckets and one maintenance action. Trying to max bar, commissions, research, bonds, and factions every week spreads you too thin.
Should I follow the same plan all 50 weeks?
No. Use early weeks for foundation, mid weeks for specialisation, and late weeks for ending confirmation. Rewrite the weekly thesis when cash or combat breaks.
Where do I track companion scenes?
Use the Bond Tracker for focus lists, then schedule Belong slots here so romance still respects your AP budget.
When should I open the Ending Checklist?
Begin soft tracking by mid-campaign. From the final ten weeks, open it every session before spending AP.
